This still life includes Origami swans, a book my friend Helen gave me, and some pink tissue paper. I would have preferred these 3 still life paintings to be much larger but they had to be smaller pieces. Its all good discipline.
Saturday was Helen's birthday and we went to see Mari French's exhibition in King's Lynn - fabulous work and almost all in acrylic/mixed media.
At Greyfriars Gallery - near Greyfriars Tower.

On the way back we stopped at Hunstanton, it was warm and still - the light on the vastness of the Wash was totally beguiling, Hunstanton beach felt stragely primeval; I could shut out the trio metal detecting, the rock pool gazers and dog walkers and imagine tree ferns and brachiosaurus wandering about.
Not any on this photo though - or that group of family and friends would be moving a bit faster....
