I wanted to join the circus with a Performing Poodle dog act when I was a child after watching an act where dogs rode scooters and bikes, walked up and down see-saws, and ran through tunnels. I am not the only child to have the circus runaway dream and I knew I would never be able to balance on a horse cantering around the ring, and a fear of heights ruled out the trapeze.
