I like it when I can rework a myth.
Jenny Holzer's Truism for this painting is "a name can mean a lot just by itself" and every Goddess Flora image I had seen had a fey girl looking vulnerable. I thought for my Flora - more Bond Beauty with balls, and a gun, of course!
Every element is a Photoshop brush, It took maybe a couple of hours to create digitally and a couple of weeks to paint.
I love the tiny men underfoot, and the rather rude seed head
- well, it is all about fertility after all.
