I took my Canadian niece Sydonie to London when
she came to England the first time. Walking along the South Bank of the Thames this young man was asleep across the footpath. Very relaxed, oblivious of everyone, I took a couple of photographs knowing I would use him for this painting.
The flowers and birds and paint splats are all Photoshop brushes used in a flash digitally, taking some time to paint in the real world.
